About This Program

The Digital Skills for Employability (DSE) program is a flagship initiative supported by the Mastercard Foundation. Targeting young women, rural youth, refugees, and persons with disabilities, it leads on the learning pathway of Digital Skills for the modern workplace. The program covers advanced Excel, data analysis, digital marketing, graphic design, project management tools, online collaboration platforms, professional communication, and Software Developer. All DSE students also receive the ICDL Certificate for Africa, validating their digital competency. To date, 65 students have graduated from the DSE program. Several DSE graduates have won prestigious hackathons, earning seed funding that enabled them to launch their own tech startups.
